truly believe that knowing how to cook is one of the greatest superpowers you can have when it comes to your health. It opens up a world of creativity, letting you experiment with dishes that really work for you and your family. I aim to help my clients gain the confidence to understand recipes without needing every measurement or detailed instruction. I see cooking as an art form or a playful experience. It should be enjoyable, a time to explore what flavors you love, what cooking methods are easiest for you, and how much of each ingredient feels just right. In this mindful recipe section, you’ll find some recipes with precise measurements and others that encourage more intuitive cooking. Remember, cooking is as simple as chopping a few veggies and tossing them in a pan with salt and pepper. It doesn’t need to be overwhelming, allow yourself to enjoy the creative process in the kitchen!

Thumbprint Cookies

These Thumbprint cookies are hands down my all-time favorite. The recipe comes from my mom, written on a simple note tucked in the cookie section of her cookbook. Made with whole wheat flour and no refined sugars, they manage to be both wholesome and absolutely delicious. The best part? They’re super easy to make with just a few ingredients, making them the perfect cookie for any occasion. Whether you’re enjoying them with your morning coffee or as an after-dinner treat, I promise you won’t regret giving them a try.
